Negative. Trimmed a piece of the fender and got my CMC (not even sure if it was needed but just figured what the hell), pinch weld still in factory spot

 

I don't think I would try it. Just turn the tremble all the way up.

 

Tinted plate lens with brighter bulbs?

 

Swapped out my cabin air filter since the pollen has been thick lately. Think it was needed?

Do what I did replace them with these:

$45 Rockford Fosgate Prime R1T-S 1" Tweeter Kit (Pair)

took maybe 15 minutes per side to replace.

 

It works fine for me, I just keep getting lazy to clear coat it and it gets horridly water spotted.

Does that integrate with XM/steering wheel controls, etc?

 

It can, mine needed an adapter to interface with the factory steering wheel controls. Sweet being able to use Siri by pressing a button on the steering wheel.

For XM I needed an aftermarket antenna that sits discretely on the corner of the dash. There is a mail in rebate that makes it free.

 

I have a Maxima that was my daily driver before I got my Tacoma. The Maxima is now the car for my teenage drivers. I was told when I acquired the car that the Maxima does not have a cabin filter and I never did any research to confirm what I was told. Well I stumbled across something on the internet last week that revealed Maximas do have a cabin filter so I just changed that filter for the first time after 196,000 miles. Those old filters can get really nasty looking. Can't believe I have been breathing air pushed through a dirty filter.
