I feel like they'd make that custom for someone but not announce it as a product

Just ordered some Dk lowers and was wondering would front airbump also be worth it for a DD over landing rig?? Got superbumps on now.

If you can afford Airbumps, they are always worth it.

Save your money. Reason I say that is most won't spend the time or money to tune their valving. Which tells me most wouldn't tune their bumps.

When I put the lowers on I was going to rebuild and revalve my icons so wouldn't bother me if I had to revalve the bumps either

    This

Jason @Evenflow Talked about a foam bump option that significantly less expensive than hydrobumps. I think I added it to the OP.

I read that! Wasn't to sure about then since not people are running them. I do like the price of them vs. A king bump

Id ask Jason @Evenflow and see how he likes them now that hes taken the truck down Baja and had it set up for awhile. I still run OEM bumps personally because im cheap.

I will have to ask him!

Now kind of on the subject of this what would you or anyone else recommend for my valving?

Icon 2.5 coil over with resi 700# 14" spring will have a pelfrey hybrid bumper and 10k pound winch, daily driver, but for off-roading I use it on fire roads. Trails, some crawling, roads with wash boards and some with whoops max 1 foot deep in certain areas pretty much basically over landing. I wasn't sure where to start for the valving so I'm going to ask all you guys what would you valve it to or have a good starting point?

I would NOT recommend hydrobumps for a DD overlanding rig. Thw wheelers superbumps mated with their extensions is all you really need for an overlander rig. If you like to offroad at speed and bullshit over whoop sections and catch air, then I would recommend the hydro's. Short of that, not necessary.

Call up Icon and have them send you the "Tacoma Low Speed" valve chart. It's 2 or 3 shims changed out.

A local guy here @Desert Drifter has a Pelfrey front, winch, skids etc and his Icons were bottoming. When they ordered the new stacks Icon just asked how much stiffer? They went with 15% I believe and his bottoming is gone. I realize this isnt as helpful as listing out actual #s for shim stacks but im not sure anyone has that info on Icon available. A few of us King guys have posted our stacks but again, does nothing for you.

@LTDSC. Did you valve stiffer with the rebuilds? Have any info to share?

    Edit: thanks @ckeene9

Just found it in my email, it's a 3 shim change. But it may not be exactly what you need. I wanted lighter compression for the rocks. I rarely do 50+ on whoops but works great in the small wash board.

Both of you guys are awesome! I kind of regret getting the icons now. Wish I knew back then what I know now. Much would rather have kings. I'll have to call up icon and get them to send the info
