I managed to get a oem rear view mirror (with the camera display) and the rear view camera for free, so i could install it on my 06 tacoma.

Ive got the camera with the harness that should be connected to the oem harness around the tailights, and the rear viw mirror with its harness.
As i got to know the 06 didnt come prewired, so im missing the wire harness part that connects both.

I would like to know if theres possibility to make this run and work, if im missing something more than the wiring (a module for the camera which ive aknwoledged its 6v), or i can just wire it and get it to work.

    Has anyone done this before?

    thanks in advance.

I have a 2006 TACO, with an aftermarket camera and monitor display. I'm pretty sure our years don't have the connection at the tailgate (or center of the truck for that matter. My Pioneer AVIC had powered the camera through a small module that also decrypted the signal (not sure what the two protocols were).

you can make a harness or look up the company Camera Source. I believe they may sell just the harness.
