    Hi All,

I'm new to the truck world. Just picked up an '09 Prerunner and just wondering if there are links to parts (OEM and aftermarket) that deal specifically with Toyota trucks.

    Thanks!

Welcome to TW and congrats on the new truck! We will gladly help you spend way more money than you intend!

    There are many:
Toyota of Dallas (TRDparts for u) is a big one that sells OEM in addition to a lot of aftermarket:

Toytec is another common name aftermarket site: There are lots of good smaller vendors on this site too that post in the Marketplace section:

Thanks, Crash. I'll be sure to check those out. There seem to be a lot of generic "Truck" sites that don't seem to have many parts/mods when it comes to Toyota. Not sure what will be my first order of business but it's nice to know what my options are.

 That is damn near half the cost of the truck itself! If I had the $, I would.

Headstrongoffroad.com and Wheelersoffroad.com are both good websites for Tacoma specific suspension and other parts.

http://www.rockauto.com is awesome, they have several options, including OEM, for parts. Cheap and fast shipping. That's where I get parts for all my vehicles. Never had an issue with this company or their products.

Just remember that you're always paying for shipping, even if the store doesn't charge you for it. Even worse, if a store has free shipping, they're going to offset the price of the item high enough to cover their shipping cost to the farthest destination (therefore everyone loses). I'd rather pay the item price and then pay a reasonable actual shipping cost based on my ZIP code.

I think Amazon is really the only company right now with enough volume that their shipping costs are low enough to be eaten by them.
