keyless entry

My new Tacoma has power door locks but it did not come with the keyless entry buttons. As luck would have it, I had a new alarm system in my garage that was given to me. It is Bull Dog brand and will work. Can anyone tell me the best way to install just the keyless entry?

 

Which bull dog system is it? In my experience installing only the keyless entry side of the alarm doesnt save much effort, just a coupe wire hookups. And I would say the best way is to take it to a professional if you've not installed alarms before.

 

Thanks. I have installed them before. I just do not know which would be the best place to tie the wires in. Inside the door or inside the kick panel.

 

You'll have to get 12v constant and ground, so it's likely easier to do it inside the cab in lieu of the door.

I have a 2016 with no keyless entry also. Looked under the dash and there is a whole mess of stuff under there. Did you get yours wired up yet? And could you post pictures of where you tapped into everything?
