USAA told me 3.49% with a 786 credit score. I went with 2.35 with TFS.

Wow. A lot of good rates on here. I got 2.99% and thought that was pretty awesome. But my credit is a bit tarnished from a repo a few years ago. So I take this 2.99% as a good thing and a fresh start considering 2 years ago I got approved for 17.99% for a dodge challenger (which I didn't take).

Dealer said they would beat any rate I could find, so I found 1.99% for 60 months, and they did beat it. They got me 1.89% for 60 months. Ok by me.

Was prepared to pay cash but instead I took a 1.5% 30 month loan for $28500 from PENFED. $937 payment. Sending $1000 a month. I did not want a long term loan.

They offered 1.5% for 36 months 2% to 60 months,

USAA traditionally has had good rates but they are not as competitive as some other places right now. Check out NSWC Federal Credit union. You can become a member there by joining some local library club for a one time $10 fee. If you go onto their website and fill out the credit application and are approved, they'll help you join. I could not find any lower rates than NSWC's over the last couple of months. I've been searching quite a few places because I originally financed through the dealer to get all of the rebates and just refinanced with NSWC

I am REALLY sensing a theme with anything dodge/chrysler and lower scores. I am a financial counselor and see it MANY times with younger enlisted folks buying a dodge/jeep as a first vehicle...had one at 20 PERCENT

I will be at 1.99% through my credit union if and when my truck arrives. The local Toyota is offering 3.49% for 60 and 72 months. I'm only financing 20k with my trade and cash.

20%?! Man that's crazy. When I got the challenger I had to get my mother to piggyback me with her credit... Apr went down to 2.49% lol. I can't even imagine anything over a 7.9%...

I guess I got under 1% with USAA because my credit is crazy high... well over 800. At the dealer the sales guy said he never saw a score that high before LOL.

You must have been on a short term loan to get under 1% and used the Car Buying Service. USAA has not been offering rates that low otherwise. You can see the rates here: https://www.usaa.com/inet/pages/bank_loan_auto_main?wa_ref=pub_global_products_bank_auto

My credit is about as perfect as it gets and my income is over 6 figures.
