Decided to pull out the useless black boxes behind the rear seats for good this time to make room for my soon to arrive @docloco MOLLE panel. While I was back there I checked to see how my five year old sound dampening install looked and everything was perfect. @HIYota told me that he was going to swing by later in the day so I got agressive and tore out the factory interior to make room for the all weather floor that I had waiting to be installed.

    IMG_0766.jpg

    IMG_0769.jpg

While I was working on getting the last of the interior out I went ahead and laid the new all weather floor out in the sun in the hopes that it would heat up a bit and be a bit easier to fit to all the factory contours. In retrospect, it probably wasn't really necessary as it fit perfectly.

    IMG_0770.jpg
    IMG_0774.jpg

Note: The floor mat hold down grommets and tabs are not installed on the all weather floor. I dropped my old weathertech mats in on top of it just to help keep things clean-ish in the cab.

    IMG_0777.jpg IMG_0779.jpg

Protip: When installing the new floor make certain that your accelerator pedal is not under it. We had everything buttoned up and I was ready to pull the truck out of the shop and when I hit the ignition, the tach bounced off of the rev limiter twice before I could get it shut back down again with both of us making the "That's Not Right" face. I immediately knew what I had done wrong and we quickly rectified it after being startled, we both had a good laugh at the situation.

The part name on the label is "carpet assy, floor" which is confusing when trying to order but it does check out. For those that missed the part number the first time I posted it here you go.

    Toyota part # 58510-04870-B2

That's awesome... Do you get any rubber off gassing smells? Probably would be short lived even if you did.

None, but in fairness the new floor sat in my shop for about a month before I installed it and I didn't notice any odor when I initially unpacked it.

Was pretty easy to do. Removed all the seats and the center console in mine but you can leave the rear seat backs in place and just remove the rear seat lowers and be good to go. You "may" have to undo one rear seatbelt bolt for the center seat, I can't recall. All in all, 14-15 bolts and four screws.

Correct, it will arrive in one piece and be a direct replacement for the carpet you are pulling out.

Sadly I don't know if it ever was sold as an option for access cabs, or of any possible part number to use to start your search.

I think 45lb each. @MrGrimm, did you weigh your rock monsters, and does that number sound right to you?

I didnt weight them but I can when I put on some new rubber this summer. I believe their weight is right around that range, if not a little more.
