Hello All......Joined this because I'm a little less than impressed with my new '16 SR5. Overall I like it but the the confused and clunky transmission action is the pisser. Hope it is just a software update. At 2k miles had it in the shop for steering wheel vibes. They re-balanced LH frt and replaced RH frt tire. Took care of it for a while but now it's becoming noticeable again. Maybe somebody else is a little disappointed as well.

Welcome to TW. Lots of folks less than happy with the transmission in the 16. If there is a lesson here, peple need to thoroughly test drive and research before buying.

Thanks for the welcome. Yes, should have picked a quieter day traffic wise or a less travelled road for the test drive. To busy focusing on the road to really see what is going on with the truck. The trans is just really annoying around 40 mph. It always wants to bog down the engine... Nobody would drive a stick shift the same way. Not even my Granny!

I just test drove a 16 auto yesterday and noticed that. I wasn't sure if it was just coming from a manual. It also seems like the motor craps out if you a light on the pedal must be the Atkins cycle kicking in.
