Disclaimer: Take this info with a grain of salt, I am.

So I went to 4wheel Parts Truck and Jeep Fest today at the WA State Fairgrounds. My first target, the ARB booth. I asked the rep., "if there was any news on the release of an "official" lift for the 2016 Tacoma?". She came back with, "They will be shipping any day now, including the BP-51s", she also threw in, "five hundred bucks a corner on the bp51s". I mentioned their HR dept had not made a official release or that nothing was listed on their web page. She messed with her phone, I am assuming looking at ARB's website and came back with, "maybe you should give them a call." Alright, guess I will go look to see if Bilstein has a display. Found the Bilstein display. I asked them the same question, as to a release date for the 2016 Tacoma. Now this guy told me the R&D was done and they are just cleaning up the valving, misc legal crap and other things they need to do before production. He did give me a time of September, maybe August for the official, specified 2016 Tacoma strut.

Once again take all this as you want to .... If someone has a hotline into ARB, call on Monday morning and let us all know. The Bilstein guys actually seemed to know what was going on with the different valving for the heavier 2016 and what not. I hate to say that I didn't ask what strut exactly they were releasing, I know, dumb, I knew I would forget to ask something. He did see me grab 6112 and 5100 pamphlet, I am only guessing he was talking about Bilsteins' complete line for the 2016. Hey, I smoked a lot of pot when I was a kid, memory isn't what it used to be ... sorry.

BP-51s will not be that cheap, in applications that are already out, like the FJ, the full kit runs +/- $2800 with the rears at ~$500 and the front coilovers at ~$900. Tacoma kit will be very similar and priced likewise.
