Finally took the plunge

Hey everybody. Obviously I'm new around here, or I wouldn't be posting. But, I'm not new to the boards, modding, or trucks in general.

Back in 2012 I was looking at Tacomas and trying to get out of the truck I had at the time (2005 Dodge Ram), and just couldn't afford what I wanted at the time. Well, as of about two weeks ago, the wife talked me into going and taking a look at the new ones since I had some deployment money I could blow and free time to case the car lots.

And here we are (I haven't taken many pics yet)



I had to give up my last project, which really was a great truck. Shameless Titan plug below.



So far this has been my favorite vehicle I've owned from day one of ownership. All I've done is add a lund tri fold and debadge it (I'm a chrome hater), but I have LED's on the way for all of the interior lights and LP lights, and also a mesh grill on the way from CCG.

That's really about it. Looking forward to getting more mods underway. Moving out to SOCAL here in a few months due to a new assignment, but after that I believe a dirt king long travel is in my future along with a list of other things. If anyone on here is at or around Edwards AFB and looking to do some wheeling this summer or just turn some wrenches....see ya in June! If anyone happens to be around the Barksdale AFB area, if you see me say hey!
