AC MAKING WEIRD NOISE 08 Tacoma

    Bilstein 5100's all around, Old man emu leaf springs, Volant cold air, body armor rear bumper with swing arm, Goodyear Wrangler Duratrack 255/70R18, Rockstar rims, EBC slotted rotors and green stuff brake pads, roll top bed cover.
    Ha. It's weird. People that don't know the sound can't hear it. But in the first millisecond I knew it was the same as mine. Sounds like a grinder bouncing around in a tin can for 2 seconds

    cycling every few seconds...
    ac compressors do this when low on fridg'rant

    get some and top it up


    it will then cycle by minutes, not seconds

    I checked and it was good ... Unless it's leaking and now it doesn't have enough but it's blowing cold just making a weird noise

    I haven't found a solution. Searched TW like crazy.
    I'll check my refrigerant too.

    blowing cold does not mean it's set right

    you need pressure gauges for a/c systems specifically

    Ok so I got it into a shop today and dude man says mine was over charged by .5 lbs. (Yea I screwed it up) . Did you charge yours recently? Any who guess if it's charged wrong it'll screw stuff and make funny noises. Got charged $35 to fix it. Noise gone.
