image.jpg Hopefully I will pick up my new 2016 tomorrow! We have to finalize the deal, sigh. This will be my 2nd taco. I'm trading my 2010 silver Trd OR Access Cab (bone stock). It's about 1am and I can't sleep for the excitement. I'm going to miss my 2010 though, we've been through a lot together - Snow storms and off road adventures. She's never gave me 1 minute of trouble in 100,000 miles. Hope my 2016 will be as dependable. Need to upgrade to a double cab. I'll try to post the new one tomorrow. I've spent countless hours over the years reading through tacomaworld forum and threads but for some reason never joined. There is a ton of good info on this site.

Just traded '10 FJ for new taco after 100k miles. No regrets, but can't help missing it sometimes. Welcome on your new journey!

I have been looking at a few options. My current plans are to add 1)- 2 step N-Fab or Predators side steps. 2)- Icon Stage 1 -or- Boss (whichever one I pick the goal is to lift the front with adj coils and no lift in back but I will replace the rear shocks). 3)Wheels/Tires - undecided on aftermarket wheels yet. From looking at limited's in photos I was not too thrilled with the stock wheels but in person they look so much better. If I choose to stay with the stock wheels I am going to put on wheel spacers and go with a larger tire.

Today is the first day I've had it and the on-board computer/calculator displayed 20.0 on mostly highway driving with a little stop & go city after that. I think I could get better. When it's new you shouldn't run at one engine speed for long periods of time so I let the RPM's run up and down while on the interstate (when I would pass someone I pushed the gas a little harder than I otherwise would have to cause the transmission to downshift kicking the RPM's up).
