Hey guys, just checking in as a new member. I figured I should become a part of this forum given that I know NOTHING about trucks. I previously owned a lowered 2003 turbo charged Infiniti g35 coupe. Had 160k miles so I sold her and got a Silver 2005 Tacoma Pre-Runner (60K miles). I knew the previous owner and he took great care of the truck! It had never left the road.

Only things done to it are:
-2" rough country level kit (already on the truck when purchased)
-Just put some new shoes on "Nitto Terra Grappler All-Terrain" 265/75/R16 8PLY

Feels weird driving a truck! I will get used to it and am sure I will love it. Still miss the speed but it sure feels better not having to worry about where I am driving.

Only concern I have right now is the small shake in steering wheel/slight rough bounce feeling when driving. Not sure if that's just a truck thing! Did some looking on the forums and I will be checking out the tire pressure on my tires and whatnot to see if that is the fix! Goodyear stuck the tires at 43ish PSI when i got them put on yesterday. I will be doing the chalk line test and seeing what they need. Max on tire is 65PSI (from what i've read this is overkill).

Any advice or tips are appreciated! Like I said, First truck I have driven/owned.
    Thanks Guys!

Thanks for the advice, I looked it up and there is a shop that has one just down the road. What is the benefit of the "road force balance" opposed to your normal balance machine at good year?

The tires were mount and balanced by good year (using a spin balance I am pretty sure). Next step will be to get the "road force" balance done at a local tire shop. I did some reading in and it seems like that could potentially fix the problem. Thanks!
