I prefer the manuals in my first gen and my 2014, they feel much more reaponsive but are geared faily low 65mph is usually 2400rpm

Other than that i love it, 20mpg hw on the 2014 and 23 on the 04 both v6

Thank you for the real world numbers. It is appreciated. I may have to lighten my right foot a bit.

I still haven't completely removed the rAm1500 hemi from the mix entirely... I was able to get 21mpg with a rental pretty easily on my commute with that fire breathing dragon of a motor that can lug it out in 8th gear. The huge chrome grill gets people out of the left lane quick too lol. I'm trying really hard to stay away from V8 territory.

I'm a little surpised the real world mpg numbers aren't better / closer to the epa numbers. Again thanks. It certainly gives me something to think about. Maybe replacing my trusty but hated crv isn't so hot an idea.

Not a fan boy here at all but id stay away from the ram unless you have loads to tow. Had a 4x4 2500 and went theough 3 sets of bjs in 70k miles, is apparently a common dodge issue to have shitty front ends

Depends on the commute. A MT would be miserable for my commute.
