right? not a single one. relay makes sense on that tho, a lot of wiring issues dont show up on the obd2

Check your intake if stock to make sure you don't have a large object like a bag lodged somewhere in the ducting. Take a coat hanger and send it through til it shows up at the filter. If there aren't any obstructions you will know.

Short of that I would suggest potential spark blow out at higher RPM's or a partially clogged fuel pump filter within the tank. Lack of fuel PSI, or the relay itself is running out of juice.

Ensuring proper spark and fuel delivery is key here.

The gears and tires have nothing to do with this, 4 cylinder or 6 it doesn't matter. You should be able to get past 70 mph regardless.

intake was removed and washed thoroughly, sparks are brand new, pump and filter are brand new, relay appears to be next swap. i can go past 70 but only on decline or 100% flat roads, wot on an over pass slant evens slows me down.

You may want to consider checking the MAP if these vehicles are equipped with it. If you are going high enough to where it may even be a couple feet from sea level the sensor may be tripping out thinking you are lean potentially.

Do you have access to a scanner?

You removed the entire stock intake and washed it out? Or just the filter itself?

so this doesn't go sideways.... a MAF is located inline with the stock intake - usually near the air filter. MAP is usually located in the intake manifold. i am assuming the 2.7 also have a MAF sensor like the 4.0.

    it's one or the other.

Do you have access to a vehicle scanner? I would like to see what your short term and long term fuel trims are while driving it and even at idle.

There also IS the possibility of your pedal position sensor not correlating correct input to the fly by wire TPS, however, all of this is speculation until you can get to a scanner and pull up live data.

theres both. maf is directly after the filter, map is bolted to the back of the intake housing and is vacuumed to the head.

i have an ultra gauge that gives real time stats. ill get my fuel trims and post them after i drive home from work. i also thought it was a pedal sensor but it reads at 16.1 at idle and goes to 80.1 wot.

You may have to check pedal specs. 80.1 doesn't sound like it is up to spec, do you have a CEL on? Any pending codes?

would a cracked exhaust manifold possibly cause this as well?
