As I'm piecing together my lift for my '16 OR I've hit a small bump in the road... Which UCA to buy!
Fox remote reservoir coils up front
Fox remote reservoir shox in rear
Deaver add a leaf in the rear.
Looking to get that magical amount of lift to run some 295's Cooper Discoverer SST PRO's
So which UCA did you go with and why?
    Total chaos?
    Light racing?
    Camburg?

    Thank you.

I like the TC and Camburg. I personally have TC and have heard that Camburgs can contact the springs at full drop. Cannot confirm, just what Ive heard

I have TC and installed them because of the very positive experience I have had with them on a 2nd Gen. Lots of mud/sand/dust/snow/salt and they have been silent (no squeaks) with no issues. Great alignment numbers and a well respected company behind the design. Highly recommend TC UCAs on a Tacoma.

Have you ever had any problems with the open uni ball? Or does all the dirt/mud and foreign debris not effect it with being open?
What if any special care that needs to be taken? Just grease the zirt fittings from time to time?

Thank you for the photos and input!

TC states in their paperwork that by running open, they prevent dirt from being held in causing premature wear. The tolerances are tight enough that dirt is not an issue.

Light Racing would be my option, because they are adjustable. TC, camburg are designed for 2nd gen will give you more caster than you need and that will cause rubbing on cab mount. Unless you want to go full 3" of lift and do CMC I would not buy them, they need to be re-designed for 3rd gen

I have had no issues with the open uniball. I do not lube the uniball at all (some use Tri-lube or other Teflon lubes). I do grease the zerk fittings on the bushings about once a year.
