I cannot find a write up or an instructional on a way to remove the pods. Anyone know how it's done?79a08c1bbdb12ad11db636d8ac44c2a2_6c45c14671493662e8c1212af7074ff712bbe836.jpg

Do they just pop out or do I need to remove all the plastic trim to get behind them?

If you don't need the plug and you don't want to mess up the surrounding plastic. Then drill a small hole, insert screw and pull.

If you remove the HVAC with a spatula you should be able to reach a finger back there and get it

Pull the A/C controls out and release them from the back. It takes like a minute tops.

No. You don't have to remove it. Should be fine
