Most people here go through The Retrofit Source and retrofit their headlights with projectors and HIDs because HIDs in reflector housing sucks.

He said that won't break the wallet and it seems going with theretrofitsource can be quite expensive compared to getting the brighest halogen or quality LED bulb that can match or beat the output of an HID. Right now I'm comparing the costs. $220 for new headlights and quality LED bulbs or $180 for new headlights, 85W Osram halogens, and heavy duty harness. The recommended kit for all Tacomas at this page: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...ngoing-gb-via-andrew-trs.262802/#post-6422146 is the
BI-XENON MORIMOTO MINI STAGE III (D2S) with the cheapest most basic being $315 ($236 if vendor gives you 25% TW forum discount) and with all the best options included you can easily spend $547 ($410 with discount)! With a TW vendor page, more than 1,000 retrofitted Tacoma's and an active group buy page you can count on getting the answers you need to get the retrofit done. I've been seriously considering it for a while but my wallet seems to think otherwise, so I've been weighing every option. I'm trying to find a cheap HID kit on ebay that is as plug and play and also quality. I'm still searching. Anyone got anything?
