It's a sad day! Ordered 10/24 and found out today that the build date is 01/18 with delivery 3-4 weeks after that.

Originally was told 8 to 12 weeks, which would have meant the second week in Jan for delivery at the latest. Knowing now that I will have to wait until late February hurts.
I'd say the wait is good because it means two more months without a car payment but I keep looking at pics on here of other's trucks and spending money... already have a stack of boxes in the garage and wheels/tires sitting at America's Tire waiting on the truck.

 

At least you have a date. Ordered mine 5 days after you & nothing yet. Did Greg get a hold of you or did contact him? About 2 weeks ago he said he would be finding out his new allocation in mid December & maybe mine would be included. I texted him twice this week for an update but haven't heard back. Guess I'll try calling him in a day or so...

 

Mtnfox, I was really bummed to hear that 8-12 weeks was now going to be 16-18, but I guess it is time or money and Greg is saving us a good amount of $$$$. I've had my Jeep since 2003 so another month with it I guess won't kill me. But I REALLY want it now!! I'm going to PM you with some details.

 

Yeah I'm just anxious, and actually more time means I can put more $ down and I won't be financing as much. He is saving us some change.

 

Greg says that it should be rolling off the truck as soon as tomorrow!!

I just hope I will be able to get out there tomorrow (if it shows) if not I'll have to wait till Thurs.




Picked it up last night!!

 

My order from October 29th FINALLY got in the system. Greg, along with the sales manager, general manager, and the district manager have been trying everything - multiple failed BOS changes, submitting my order as a "sold" order, you name it. I was beginning to think they just couldn't get my truck and I considered bailing out. Today the BOS change was accepted. Build scheduled for late March, delivery in April. Dan, the general manager said this was one of toughest orders he's tried to get. Still a bit of a wait left but at least there is now light at the end of the tunnel.

good work, man. I have the same truck in white without tech premium and love it. You, too, will love it. I paid around 1250 more than that (but at a lower price level due to packages) in December. So your wait has saved you some cash

 

The long wait is almost over. Greg texted me yesterday and it will be there Thursday or Friday, and I'm hoping to get up there the Monday after that to get it. Oy - FINALLY!
