My driver side mirror works perfect except on thing it will not stop in the proper position I have tried to research this part of the mirror with no luck. Have found after market on ebay is this a mistake? Can some one tell me if it can be repaired or does it need to be replaced
    Thanks!

What do you mean it will not stop in the right position? Details...

What part are you looking for? The Mirror assembly? It would be better to know what part you need first, it could be the switch.

Its a little hard to explane but when your mirror stops in the correct position the front (cover side) is in line with the base part connected to the door but when mine stops the angle is wrong its like the (detent?) part where the mirror meets the base connected to the door is damaged or broken inside it rotates ok but when it locks in to its so to say locked position the angle is wrong and the mirror will not adjust enough to make up for the angle I have to push it out a little to make it view proper its not in the stop but it stays pretty good every now ad then I have to push it back out Its just not proper and it pisses me off don't know if it got hit or what I have only owned the truck for a few months hope this explains the situation! Thanks

I see, you are talking about the hinge where it collapses. Disassemble it and see what it is.
