    Quit working correctly anyway.

Sounded as if it was playing under water. Bluetooth phone calls and all music sources.. .basically anything coming from the speakers sounded like this.

Just got a call from the dealer.... the amp is dead.

    3-5 days for parts.
Oh, but no need for me to worry! I'm having a BLAST in my RAV4 service loaner!!!:annoyed:

Hey, a Rav isn't a bad little loaner. Heck, I didn't even know you could get a loaner for that.

I liked my RAV4 ... It was so ugly I didn't really care if it got banged up in the parking lot, and I had a lot of fun taking it down trails to go hunting. It actually did pretty good on some muddy spots :D ... Real easy to park too :) ... Still, so ugly.

I previously had a Scion XB when I got the leather and some other stuff installed... ended up really liking that car!

When they were setting me up with the car today, I told them to give me ANYTHING but a prius... ANYTHING. I said even a minivan would be better.
So I guess I can't complain too much. The Rav just feels like a tiny econobox. Gets me around so that's cool.

I'm just surprised they gave you a loaner. One I didn't know they even did that (this is my first Toyota). Two, are they keeping your truck while waiting for the parts? I would have thought you'd just have to bring it back when the parts are in.

I dropped the truck off and left with the loaner. They called me a couple hours later with the news. Thing is, they're also fixing the PPF that I had installed. I was waiting for the first service to get that fixed but might as well do it while it's in for the stereo fix. They guy who called gave me the option to just keep the loaner until it's all done. The dealership is a ways away so it all works out... and gives them plenty of time to get the PPF squared away before the amp shows up. I just want it done right the first time... worth the wait to me.

If you buy a new car and something breaks under warranty, you deserve a loaner! I asked for one when I first called about the stereo and they were cool about it.

Just found out today (had to call 3 times of course... they'll rarely call you) that the amp is on backorder... so the truck sits and waits.
I'm hesitant to pick it up because it will be forgotten. If I leave it there, they should have more of a reminder to get it fixed... I dunno.

Being that they are working 6 or 7 days a week to keep up with demand for these trucks, it makes me think that they in fact DO have the amps available but they are for the new trucks only. Why bother with me when I've already purchased the truck? Save that AMP for the new customer who'll drop 40k...

I'm calling corporate on Monday. I need an AMP ASAP. This is ridiculous. Waited a week just to be told it's on backorder?
    Oh, well.

Second the little suvs for hunting wagons. I used to take my wife's 2001 CRV off road in swamps in southern Maryland chasing white tail and turkey. Handled great and I loved using the little fold out picnic table that honda put in the trunk for bird butchering.
