I took my new to me 240k truck for a short drive today and every pothole felt as if the truck was hit with a sledge hammer. I think I need some shocks and/or struts. I took some pics, could these be original? It sits lower in the front but all my trucks do that a bit. I included some pics so you guys could give me some advice on my new and 1st tacoma.
    thanks a bunch!

Hard to tell by pictures, the shocks aren't leaking fluid, but could be toast. Push on front end of truck to get it bouncing a bit p, does truck continue a couple of times to bounce after you stop?

As for the leafs, if the back end isn't sagged out I'd leave them be, or if it hauls a decent load without dragging its arse you're fine.

Doesnt look like the original trd shocks and leafs to me look fairly worn and warped.

BUT. The trucks pretty damn clean for the miles.

Aren't original TRD shocks yellow? Mine were. bilstein is the brand.
Springs still have some life in my opinion.
