When I got my 14 Tacoma I installed a roof rack which I really didn't like. Ended up pulling it off and putting the drip molding back in place

They have never really stayed in place very well. They will blow off in the car wash, flop back at highway speeds etc

I've tried various types of epoxy, 3m double sided tape etc.

Last night one blew off and this time it flew somewhere down the highway never to be seen again

Has anyone successfully gotten these to stay in place? I have absolutely no intention of ever needing to remove them ever again.

This is super irritating on a over 30k truck!!

    I feel your pain lol,
my only suggestion would be 3m weatherstrip adhesive,
the trick with that is to find where the two pieces touch in the track, then clean those with alcohol to remove any grease or wax, goop both pieces with 3m where they touch, but wait 3 to 5 min before you put them together. 3m will stick like non other but still be some what pliable so temp changes won't cause squeaks.

I've had some other suggest the weather strip adhesive as well

    It's worth a try

I'll keep an eye on eBay for a new molding and see if I can get it on when it gets a bit warmer
