I have a 2006 TRD Sport Tacoma and I'm looking at putting a leveling kit on it. I just don't want it to sit nose up. I want to fit 285x70x17 tires on it. I've seen 2.5" spacer leveling kits, but I'm not sure if it will make the truck sit nose up and o don't want it to sit like that. I've also seen 2" leveling kits, but I am not sure if that size tire would fit on it.

Okay. Would I have a lot of rubbing if I put 285x70x17 tires on a 2" leveling kit?

For sure, you have 10+ year old springs in the rear that probably are already sagging a bit if they haven't already broken once.

It would be smart to replace the entire front strut assembly due to the age of the suspension. Also depending on your location your lower control arm eccentrics are likely seized, which inhibit a front lift from being done properly.

Would you recommend me putting on all new Bilstein 5100 Monotube Gas Shocks and lifting the front 2.5" and the back .5" to level it out?
