So yesterday i noticed a scraping noise in the steering wheel/column like a plastic on plastic noise but there was no plastic touching while turning the wheel. took it to the dealer and left it all day and they couldnt determine what the problem was and they order a whole new steering wheel. So i went and picked it up cause the wheel had to be order and heres how the putmy wheel back on.

Of course we know why the wheel is crooked, just a lazy tech. Hopefully your new wheel will be installed correctly.

IF the new wheel fixes the issue (I'm doubtful) see if you can get them to show you what was wrong with the old wheel, ie where the noise was being generated. Curiosity and all that.

Mine does that. Noticed it from day 1. Not even worth my timemail taking it to dealer. Glad to hear mine isn't the only one :)

Did your noise go away once the wheel was replaced? I just picked up my 2023 SR5 and it makes the noise you described. Very annoying.
