Hey y'all, I'm very new to the truck scene and I want to get new wheels and rims for my tacoma. I want to get black rims for it but I've heard a lot of different things from a lot of people. Some people say to go to your nearest shop and have them spray your rims black. But other people say stock rims with stock tires would look weird? I'm very confused on what I should do. I'm also wondering what the price of everything would be. Please get back to me if any of y'all have been through this process. Thanks.

Well to avoid confusion, wheels are rims. Do you mean that you want to replace the wheels as well as the tires?

I don't like the look of painted stock wheels. I'd suggest you get a set of wheels you like then sell your stock set used on CL or the like.

Lots of stuff on this forum already if you check the wheel and tire forum. Lots of guys with really nice set-ups that may inspire you. Good luck.

Yeah, I want to replace the wheels and the tires. Thanks for your input. I'll look more closely at the forum.
