who is running allpro UCA's? @Tretiak30 or has experience with them? The GB looks like its going to hit 20% off before its over. Im on the fence.

My plan is Bilstein 6112's and Dakars, so that should put me 2.75" ish of lift....

Are the Allpro UCAs designed to adjust the Castor or is it built in? Not sure how much adjustability is available on their setup or if I should get someone else's.

The 20% off makes it a damn good deal though.

I'm curious, too. I found these for $480 and they're adjustable, just not sure if they're a reputable quality: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B001DC1U4O...UTF8&colid=TNLB93KP2YAX&coliid=I12B39GURJ0B5D

Scratch that the manufacture is forcing them to sell at a set price now so they are 480 as well. :(

They had pretty good reviews everywhere I've looked. I don't really need to replace my UCAs just yet, but at that price I might just get a set to have on hand.

I'm not. I'm running TC but the All Pro ones are a little beefier. 1.25" uniball versus 1" on the TC. The caster is already built in so you just put them on and adjust the cams on the lower like normal

ok. I have never done an alignment myself. Those that do... will these be a good choice or should I look at others.

I just want to make sure I spend my moonies wisely and get a good part.

Do you need new UCAs with 2.75" of lift? I kind of thought 3" was the cutoff.

You won't have any problems with really any brand UCA. All Pro and TC are like top

I'd recommend UCAs on any lift because it looks good and you'll get better travel, handling and alignment numbers with them.

From what I gathered I would be in the gray zone.

If getting them means I can get preferred alignment numbers rather than 'within stock limits' type numbers I will do it. Tires are expensive. I want them to last. I drive a lot of miles and its my daily driver. I need it set up right.

I would recommend them. I even recommended UCAs at some point to Doc after his block lift. Only because it does make a difference with alignment and handling.

If you want extra alignment-ability then you can get TC heimed uppers which allows you to adjust camber/caster up top as well but that's an extra $300. I never found it worth it unless you solid mount the lowers.

I would recommend hopping on that AP GB or getting the light racing ones for as cheap as you can find. Otherwise get TC

No experience with Icon from me but I'm sure they are just as good, I don't know how I feel about the dust cap as dirt/debris can find its way in and get trapped in there.

There's a lot of pros and cons to uniball arms but there shouldn't be a reason to not get them even in Ohio, just keep washing and lubing your balls and they will last.

Bought some used LR UCA's today. $225. $100 to completely rebuild them. Not too shabby

Wonder what counts as "inside the bucket" Does 1/4 of a leaf spring or the like count? lol
