Hard to find a review with the manual transmission. Here is someone who actually DRIVES it.

I don't think he's over-revving...he's nowhere near redlining it. Plus, who doesn't like to push the RPM's when test driving/reviewing a new car or truck?

He does not need to red line to over rev , listen again to when he shifts he stays on the gas peddle to long

No he doesn't. The rpms hang a little in this model. I have one. I just got done driving it and the rpms hang a little in between shifts. Especially on hard acceleration. Only way to keep it from happening, which you don't have to because it's designed to do that, is to let off the gas for about a second or more, then depress the clutch pedal.

Haha I'm the one who got him to fix it. It's not pro anymore. And what's wrong with the grill? That's the one I got. I think it looks pretty sweet and shiny

Ohp. Nvm. I drove it around some more last night. Rpms don't hang. I was doing the sane thing this driver was doing without realizing it. He is depressing the clutch pedal while revving a little. I wasn't doing it much. Shouldn't have done too much harm to the clutch. Especially now that I drive it right. Gotta understand I've never driven a 6 speed before. Does anybody have any idea what 4th gear is for? I'm fucking around with it, but all I use is 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, and 6th. What the he'll is 4th for? It's good cruising at 30mph and 35mph but so is 5th. They're very close in ratios. Anybody have any pointers about this?

lol Classic Tacoma World. Start a thread about one thing, end up fighting about something not really related to the OP's original post.
