03 Tacoma ECU issue?

    2003 Tacoma v6 Prerunner 2wd
    Throttle body spacer, Cold air intake, Gforce chip
    My check engine light came on right as I pulled in to smog my truck. reader said it was p0012 error code. Mass air sensor was replaced and chip removed. Check engine light still on. Reinstalled chip light went off. Did the chip take over my ECU? Do I need to buy a new ECU? Truck wont pass smog now says no report from ODBll . What's the next step? Any sugesstions would be great!
