    Going Saturday to pick up or build a new TRD Off Road double cab short bed. Only question?? Going with a 6 speed manual does the Tacoma still offer "crawl mode" looked around on this forum and didn't find my answer. Thanks will post pics when she's in my driveway:)

    Crawl control is not offered with the manual transmission. Some might argue that 1st gear and a good driver is a lot better than Crawl.

    Definitely go manual. The 6spd auto on the 2016s are really proving to be faulty. Many many many people on this forum complain about erratic shifting points, low fluid from the factory, and even complete tranny failure. If I were you, I'd go manual and save myself the headache.

    also after searching iv heard crawl mode is really loud in the cab> most definitely leaning more towards the manual and its a tad bit cheaper. meaning more money for better tires:burnrubber:

    GET THE MANUAL! Crawl control is for sissies anyway ;)

    Honestly though, just do a search for "2016 Transmission" on these forums and you'll understand why. Not everyone is having issues with the auto, but enough people are to warrant genuine concern.
