I'm new so be nice lol. I have a 2016 trd off road. I have a procomp 3/1 nitro lift with 305/70/16 on stock wheels with 1.25 wheel spacers. I have rubbing issues. I'm looking to get a 6" suspension lift or fox coils and new ucas. My question is does that affect the ride if the coils are turned all the way up to obtain enough clearance for tires. I don't trail or off road that much just the occasional mud hole at deer camp. Just looking for better ride quality.

Where are u rubbing? Maybe you can do some trimming instead.

Cranking up coils just to clear tires will affect ride quality.

Also, those are really wide tires to be putting on the 7" OEM wheels. You might want to look into some 16x8 aftermarket wheels with better backspacing too.

tires are too wide, if a tire shop told you to go with them cause they'd be awesome and fit take them back, if not look up cab mount chop/cut if that's where you're rubbing.

blocks will affect ride quality, as far as I know the proper way to lift(read coils/shocks/leafs) you are currently limited to about 3" lift using the proper method. Just a side note 32.8" diameter isn't an issue but like @friendlywithbears said, a bit too wide. A 285/75/16 would have fit better but still would probably have to do a CMC/Trimming. Might want to google wheel spacer failure as well. Looked up that tire size, it recommends 8-9.5" rim.

blocks affect ride much less than coil overs and new leafs, spacer block lifts that sit outside of the coil over and under the leaf spring actually are going to give the closest to factory ride possible for a lifted vehicle.

OP do a lot of searching and don't just listen to the retardation this thread might fill up with. look at what others with 2nd gens have done to fit this tire size and compare your 2.5 gen to them to see what you really need. there is really need and nice or great to have..

do you really want a drop bracket lift? do you understand them and are you willing to cut your frame to install the drop bracket? it's a lot of money to get those tires to fit, would be a lot easier to get rid of those tires and get some nice 255's and run them with no other mods.

2.5 gen, something new I haven't heard of....you make a good point 255/85's would work even better if you don't mind 10" wide tires, work great in the snow from what I've heard.

the 255's actually perform great in all situations other than deep sand or deep powdery snow. i just think that this size is great for simplicity and overall cost from install to daily mileage. but true about the 10" width, for some it can look too skinny.

I heard the opposite where snow is concerned, but yea the mileage deal it does save a bit on that. Personally I'm teetering between 275 and 265's. I think the ride quality between the two will be negligible using a fox stage 4 kit or icon stage 5 (haven't decided yet) no add-a-leaf, full leaf pack.

So many bash blocks and spacers but for those who don't OR it seems to be a good option to fit desired wheels without affecting the ride quality.
