Great pic of your dad B, but I mentioned earlier that you were a chip off the 'ol block...........yet your dad has too many fingers up on that face palm. I envisioned a face palm from your dad with only the middle finger up.:notsure: Hug yer dad's neck for us and tell him thanks for his dedication from TW.:D

Sorry your dad has to retire. Now he can do some of the projects he's probably been putting on hold for years. It should give you guys plenty of time to spend together. Spend as much time as you can with him. I wasn't able to and I missed out on so much.

Almost every day - Lost my mom last Chrismas, Grandmother last November and Great Aunt (who was like my west coast mom) a couple of months before that.

My last memory of my dad was getting him some ice cream when my brother wouldn't give it to him. He and I sat on the back porch like 2 - 10 year olds getting away with something. We were both very happy! He fell and hit his head died hours later. My brother tried to tell me that the ice cream is what made him loose his balance. Anyway I treasure the ice cream memory! :) ...but I miss his words of support! :(

Best wishes for your retirement Brian's Dad! I'm sorry that it wasn't really by choice, but it may be for the best and enjoy every minute! Glad that he is doing better now Bri!
