I've already gotten over the fact that there is no configuration available for a TRD OR w/ a 6' bed and the new 6-Speed MT.

That fact alone has swayed me in purchasing a 2016 +.

So.....let the flood gates open with your tears 3'rd Gen owners.

Let us on TacomaWorld hear the truck you were forced to settle on since the magical aforementioned beast is only available in Canada.

I didn't settle. I got exactly what I wanted. TRD Sport, AC, Auto, Premium and Tech, 4X4, Inferno.

 

Couldn't find a 1st Gen I wanted at a reasonable price, there was nothing in the '16 lineup I wanted, so I bought a lightly used '13.

Does that count?

 

Yeah, I didn't "settle" either ... got just what I wanted also....I got exactly what TyFX got, except my cab is bigger then his..

That's exactly what I bought in March; 2016 TRD Access Cab, long bed manual. Perfect for my forestry work. Why do they make it for Canada but not USA? Bizarre.

I don't think the 4 banger AC comes with the 6 speed MT unless I am missing a gear in mine.

 

FAHK!!!! Can't change the poll to reflect that the SR 4 Banger 4x4 is a 5MT. At least y'all know what I meant....

 

My only wish was the option of a 6 foot box. Not an option in Canada if you want a DC MT, so 5 foot it is.

 

I got exactly the only available truck with a 6spd manual within 300 miles from my home at time of purchase.

I've been a long-time bitcher and moaner about the lack of manual on the DCLB. Still no direct explanation from Toyota.
