3 year warranty ending, take it to the dealer?

    The happy wife thing, yeah, that's worth something. The ladies do seem to appreciate it when you take their opinions seriously. And if she's a good one, it's worth doing that for sure.

    Dealer service centers have mixed motivations. They aren't just making money servicing your vehicle, they are part of a car dealership. Which means they'd be about the happiest if they could somehow convince you that it's too big a risk to have a vehicle that's out of warranty, and have you drive away in a 2016.

    You might find a local shop with a good reputation and have them do what amounts to a vehicle inspection they'd do if you were buying the truck off craigslist. Make her happy, cost you a c-note, maybe you make a relationship with a shop that works for you down the road when it has 150K.

    Yep, as I seem to have become a permanent bachelor 10 years post-divorce; unable to make an LTR work I'll tell you: tend your garden if you care about it.

    You are correct... I was off the que a bit. It is covered for the 3Yr / 36K and should be on the Emissions up to 80, but it isn't... Sorry I was incorrect in my statement above.
