Got the aluminum front bumper with no hoops. Had it painted to match the truck, and I blacked out the lower portion. Now I need to get a winch in there!

I'm going to do the color matched high clearance, but probably no swing out. I like being able to just drop the tailgate, and the tire is good up on the rack.

I've always thought the color-matched bumpers looked odd with the lower part being color-matched as well. I gambled on something new, and it paid off.

Got the winch installed today. I need to loosen and realign the bumper though, but that can wait until another day.

This aluminum bumper with no hoops weighs 50-55 pounds I think. So I easily installed it by myself with the winch and lights mounted.

Thanks! Where are you in East Carolina? The wife and I are taking a trip in the truck to the Outer Banks towards the end of May.

I got to school at East Carolina University. It's in Greenville NC which is a couple hours before the outer banks.
