VEHICLE WRAP HAWAII

IM LOOKING TO HAVE MY TRUCK WRAPPED, ON THE MAINLAND IT WOULD COST BETWEEN 700 AND 1600... BUT HERE I HAVE ONLY FOUND ONE PLACE AND THEY WANT 4GRAND, HELL NO!!!
I KNOW HAWAII IS MORE EXPENSIVE BUT NOT THAT EXPENSIVE...

DOES ANYONE KNOW OF THE HOOK UP?? ITS NOT EVEN A FULL WRAP, LIKE 50% WRAP, WITH SOME LOGOS AND ONLY 3 COLORS TOTAL

On a serious note, $4,000 is insane unless its some kind of exotic vinyl/material. I just got quoted $2,500 for a full wrap on a 4Runner with a lifetime warranty with panel touch ups and lifetime detailing. That quote's not in Hawaii but you get the idea.

 

RIGHT 4GRAND... AND THE DESIGN IS SO SIMPLE, AND ITS NOT A FULL WRAP. ONLY LIKE HALF THE TRUCK

 

Wrapping isn't hard to do yourself if you are up to it. You can significantly lower the cost if you went this route. You probably wont have a show car finish (inside of doors wont look perfect, etc).

I would not pay 4k for a basic wrap job though.

xero quoted me $600 for hood, cab roof, camper shell roof - basically the whole top of my truck.

edit - I looked back, and they also quoted me $3,500 for any matte finish for my truck, but I have a camper shell that I wanted them to wrap too. he did mention that the camper shell adds a lot of labor and sqft of wrap, so I'm not sure how much less it would be... maybe somewhere in the $2500-ish range?

There is a guy in Waipahu at Tokyo Auto...Charlie that does vinyl wraps. He works Tues-Sat.

I'll check him out soon.

He says charges $50-60/ hr if you have your wrap.
