I've always loved that "trucker" feel inside the cab so I picked up a Gear Keeper HD for my CB mic.

Also received my very poopy CB mount from @Shmellmopwho Thanks dude!

We will see. If it does start to get in the way, I will move it back to its old spot, but it seems to be a good enough distance away to where it shouldn't be a problem. Not like I wheel very often anyways! Lol

Truck went in for some warranty work. Rear main seal started slowly leaking. After I picked it up, it was pouring out so once again, I had to take it back to get the seal replaced and the tech wasn't happy about doing it free the second time.

Now, I am really annoyed of how loud the truck is getting with all the additions so I am going back to the factory exhaust and I started sound proofing the entire truck. I will do some Noico and Shok Industries sound deadener and MLV over that to help with everything.

I started to rip it all apart tonight..

My wheeling buddy is now pushing 60 pounds around 7 months old.. :woot:

Here is a short and terrible right up that I just BS'd on the sound proofing back wall and floor.

I used about 35-40 sq. ft. Noico CCF and Home Depot brand MLV.

I covered everything I really could with the CCF then laid down the MLV over it. I cut out notches for the floor drain plugs and seat mounts, etc. I did the back wall and floor completely. The doors I'm skipping and will need to figure something out for the roof and getting rid of wind noise.

Pulling the carpet, I had to cut the piece that goes under the center console because I wasn't going to unwired my entire switch panel. It was a really small cut and fit back in the same.

You can definitely tell there is more thickness under the carpet, especially for the under seat storage bins in the rear, you'll really have to push that down to get it to clip back in.

That's really all there is to that? Very tedious but very worth it.

I also picked up my new HAM radio after many hours talking to friends who are into this and the people at my local HAM shop.

I picked up the Icom IC-2730A dual band. It was between this and the Yaesu FT-7900R but liked having the option to monitor both frequencies (2M and 70cm) on the Icom. I also was looking in the Yaesu FT-8900R but couldn't justify the need for a quad band right now.

Got the HAM in today and wired up. Received an echo link from a friend in Dayton and hit a local repeater so I know everything up and running well.

Now to get my license and call sign!

She is different than any other dog I've seen and been with. This is my first dog but my sister has had dogs her whole life and my neighbors. Athena (my GSD) is curious about everything.. She will go a whole day without eating if she's outside.. She just loves exploring me chasing leaves, and being outside. She won't even want treats.. She's great, I really do love her man haha

Thats all mine did! When ever the weather was nice he would always be laying in the grass watching the birds and listening for the neighbors dogs. In the summer he would lay out there so long that you couldn't touch him because he was so hot (same thing during winter in front of a fire). He actually snatched a few birds out of mid air a few times haha

Beautiful! A pure bred GSD was my dream dog growing up.. My parents had two back in Europe and my sister has one. They are one of the best looking dog breeds out there. I wanted a long haired male like yours but ended up walking home with a short hair girl. I've yet to see her kill a bird or anything.. She wouldn't even hurt a rock! Haha
