    Tires ...
    Hey guys

I have a 02 sr5...it was my father's rig...he passed just over a year now...and about 15k ago I started getting a front end vibe ...sounds like aggressive tires...I am a experienced mechanic and have tried everything besides getting in to the diff ...New wheel bearings. ..cv axles twice ...tie rods and alignment. ..all new ball joints ...and problem still persists. ..tires are balanced. ..I replaced rear driveshaft as well ...they arnt cheap...I do play pretty hard ...but who makes a truck this small ...and don't hit the local sand pits and trails lol...if anyone can steer me in the right direction please let me know ...and fyi stock truck minus tires. ..

You have hit a lot of the main things. Maybe the wheels aren't round anymore?

Have you had the tires road force balanced? Only thing that stops a shimmy on certain miatas is getting the tires balanced precisely.

    Tires ...
I don't think it's a tire issue cause swapped them out and tried different ones I own with no difference. ..it very mild under 40...and hums till 70 then becomes a bad vibe...I was thinking bearing it diff possibly. ..one side go into directly...and the other is a carrier shaft I believe? Not sure haven't torn a diff on these apart before...and is also worse on deceleration. ..I am a Chevy guy...but have seen these tacomas crack 400k a few times so that there says enough. ..just trying get a direction. ..before I rip whole truck apart for nothing I put 100 miles on it daily ...commuting to work

Could be a seized caliper. Also do you have wheels that are hub centric? I've seen ppl get vibes if the don't use the hub centric rings that come with some aftermarket wheels
