Mine didn't have them, i do know that they were a factory option. i was wonder what options are available, i know of some LED kits you can wire up, but i would like them to be up at least near or on the level of the headlights, and not down at the bottom, and have seen it suggested that you just leave the headlights on cause when you turn off the engine and exit the vehicle they will turn off, but i dont want to do that, i am looking for a normal factory style, only headlights are on, not console lights and taillights type setup.

If something existed where the turn signals next to the headlights on the front could be DRL's as well as turn signals that would be about what i am after

Anyone have any ideas, all i can find on a search are threads on how to remove them. I wont judge on that issue as long as you dont judge on me wanting them.

thanks for the quick reply, that looks to be much of what i want, just need one thing to be exact, that the white light from the switchback leds mod will stay on when the engine is on, without a switch being flipped, and go off when the engine is off, just like normal DRL's without having to worry about battery run down

Replaced chrome badges with Sockmonkey black badges, painted billet grill black, K&N cold air intake, my corner light turn signal circuit, Speedfreek traction bars, RAAMaudio BXT/Ensolite, Stereo: Kenwood KIV-701 USB/Bluetooth deck, 10" Pioneer shallow sub behind the rear seat, Infinity 6822cf 6x8 front and rear doors, Fosgate P400-2 (sub), US Acoustics USX-4065 (four main speakers)
You have to add a wire for the switchback mod so you have power for the white LEDs. You can choose whatever 12V source you like for that..... so if you use a 12V source that goes on and off with the ignition (the 12V that goes to the power outlets/cigarette lighter is that way) to the switchbacks then the white LEDs will only be on when your ignition is on.

Since your preference is to have the driving lights up high near the headlights, perhaps a simpler way to do what you are looking for is to just cut the hot wire on your corner lights (near the corner light housing). Then run a wire from a ignition switched 12V source to the few inches of the hot wire that is left on your corner light. Now your corners would come on whenever your ignition is on. You then might want to go with a bright white LED in the corner for more visibility.
