Popping/clanking sound

I've got a 2013 TRD off road. A few months back, it started making a popping/clanking sound when backing straight out of my driveway. It went away for awhile but is back. Now it also sometimes makes the noise while turning. I took it to the dealership but they didn't see anything (they say), and turned me away since they didn't hear the noise. (Doesn't always happen) Anybody know what the problem is?
