Can I remove the stock steel wheel center caps without taking the wheel off? Dealership fucked up my plasti dip on the center caps and wondering if its safe to pop them off without removing wheel or will I break the tabs?

I have done it before. Takes quite a bit of muscle.

I just use the jack handle and pry them off.

Had a hard time getting the lug wrench to fit the lug nuts properly with the center cap still on.
