TRD Exhaust tip vs. Full Catback system

Hey there,

I was looking to make my Tacoma sound a little more beefier, after some research I found out about the TRD exhaust. My question is, how does a simple TRD exhaust tip sound compared to a full TRD Catback system?

 

The tip is purely cosmetic, the only way to change your exhaust tone is with a different muffler.

I bought this muffler http://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-638222/overview/ and had a shop weld it in for $70. It sounds great! Can't beat it for $100.

 

Oh, I thought it helped the sound a bit. I guess the catback system is the way to go if I'm strictly looking in TRD products, ehh?
