Can anyone help me find my vehicle speed sensor on an o5 double cab, 4x4 ,4liter engine, auto trans.
My speedometer stopped and I am getting PO500 trouble code.

I broke the left rear wheel speed sensor as I went to change out a wheel seal. I have now put in a new sensor but still have no spedo. Is there a fuse that might have blown as the sensor broke?
    Thanks for your help

I believe you have to reset the computer, no fuse for the sensors that I am aware of. They are powered from the skid control ECU

Do you mean disconnect the battery and then reconnect?

That would be the first thing I'd try

Just reset the computer with no luck. I have been running with no signal coming from the right rear wheel speed sensor for quite awhile, then broke the left sensor and lost the spedo. I would guess the system works from either left or right or the left only. Is there a simple way to check that sensor out put with an analog multi meter?

You can check the inputs at the skid control ecu by using a scope, when I get home I'll post up the FSM sections
