Ok so I recently ordered a bilstein lift kit from toytec. Everything seemed good but the rear add a leaf came and the part# TAC-AL-LA was the product I recieved. I looked at the toytec website and it says it's for the 1995-2004 tacomas....I double checked the part# on the kit I ordered and the aal part number states that #TAC-AL is for the 2005-2015 tacomas which wasn't the part number I recieved. Mine being a 2010. I emailed them and they said these two part numbers are the same item. Are they? Help me out here tacoma world....on the kit I ordered I specifically checked (2" add a leaf).....will this part give me the 2" lift I want on the rear? My front setup will be giving me approximately 3" of lift if not, close to it and I want the truck to sit level, not nose high.

If your trying to lift this weekend I would throw it in. Rear leafs are not complicated set ups. See my link for a write up I did using a junkyard leaf pack for my AAL. There is a high probability that there is zero difference between the years when it comes to adding the AAL..

That's what I told them. I also took a snapshot of what u have and sent it to them. Don't know why but they said it's the same part. I don't know if toytec is bullshitting me or not. Kinda pissed me off.

Toytec is pretty well known and respected around here op, I wouldn't expect them to be bsing you. I'd expect it to be more an honest mistake by them or a misunderstanding by you.

This is what they said when they replied back to me. And from what they're saying this leaf spring will give 2" of lift for tacomas from 1995-2015?????

I'll be contacting them by phone tomorrow. We'll see what they say. And in addition this was a short aal.....the discription said long...:notsure: I'm just expecting a 1.5-2" rear lift so I won't be nose high with my 3" front setup. At least leveled.
