I've thrown streamers before....but it's rare. It's mostly dries or small stone flies. Gonna be hopper season pretty soon! That's when things get exciting.

Nice. Me and my buddy are heading up to Allegheny National Forest for the weekend to chase brookies and camp. Hopefully some good pictures to come...

New rod should be in today. Unfortunately, I'll be heading out of town tonight and won't get to try it until MAAAAYBE Sunday. If I get back to town in time

Pretty good Fall and Winter flyfishing for Striped Bass down here... Put over 60 fly-caught stripers in the boat between Oct and Feb! Largest was a hair over 17 lbs.

Seeing all these nice trout has me itching to head up to the mountains... But the spring river striper run is going on right now haha!

Couple of pictures of the latest build. It is a TFO Bvk 9' 7wt with Recoil strippers and SF minima's, Rod was tied today and is waiting for epoxy. Thread appears bright but will darken with epoxy

Got my new Redington 7' 3 wt rod and new Lamson reel. Took it out Sunday and caught a few small rainbows. Love the small rod for light/dry flies. Extremely accurate and easy to cast.

Any of you guys use rooftop (roof rack) rod tubes to carry your fly rods?

I hate breaking down my rods to go from stream to stream on a fishing trip. The Titan Rod Vaults look awesome, but I cant justify the price tag. Im kicking around a few DIY ideas that I need to explore.

Looking for any info or input. Thanks
