Terra Grapplers are actually really good tires! We had a set on our old Tahoe and got like 65K miles out of them and they were decent in the dirt too.

Yessir. RokBlokz for the win! A bit on the expensive side for mud flaps, but they're perfect for my needs. (I didn't even bother installing the OEM flaps... they'd be broken off by now. Sold them as soon as they arrived.)

I just finished the install, so I haven't been able to test the range on the Tacoma. But, this is the EXACT setup (same parts) I had on my JK and the range was great. Got most everything from Amazon.

I like this setup. Works perfect for my needs. Perhaps ask your CO folks what they recommend.

What antenna did you go with and is it functional in the high country or do you know yet and also, did you tune your antenna? I know that's like a 4 part question.

Went with this after some recommendation. Haven't got it all set up. I'm completely new to cb, so still learning. I've been told there is a cb genius near me that works magic with tuning. It should work fine with trails, but down the road I'm sure I will be upgrading to HAM.

Edit: Keep in mind all the trees that get hit with the antenna and that's why they run a flex.

Tint, Bed mat, door sill protectors, others pending.
I am not sure on what % tint I am going with yet. I will see how the legal limit looks and go from there. The OR does seem to have something that makes the front windows a little darker.

Looks like a decent setup. I'm using a ham and a CB, there just isn't enough room in these trucks to run a full size CB or Ham, so I'm considering the same CB. It's not like I'm going to use it OTR, so it should work. I just hadn't heard a lot of input about it.

I probably would've tested and went ham right away, but not enough people use it.

I'm sitting at the dealership for my 5000 mile servicing. They informed me that since the truck has a full synthetic oil that it won't need changed until 10000 miles. Is this accurate information?

I believe normally yes, but what I've been hearing from everybody is change it at 5000 miles for your first oil change I thought the Toyota manual stated that ?

you need to tell them you tow and make short trips, then per Toyota the oil is changed at the 5K service, like mine was.

I don't think the manual states that for normal driving conditions but I went ahead and had them do it for my 5k service. Service tech said he's seen a lot of folks with the 16s do the same

I only have it for emergencies, as my wife and I often find ourselves out and about in BFE alone and trying to get to places where getting stranded is a reality. Too far out of CB range.
