I searched and couldn't find this answer easily.

Can I replace my spare with an extra 17" TRD SEMA wheel? Running a 265/70/r17 KO2?

What's the largest tire someone has put under there?

My dealer was not able to get the 5th sensor to work either BUT they said they can record each sensor # for all 5 and change the spare for the th wheel as I rotate the spare in!

Thank you guys! Looks like it will work. Strange thing about the TPMS, everything I have read on here says that there is one in the spare.

I'm packing a spare 265-70-17 (Cooper STT Pro). Plenty of room

I replaced my factory tires after about 400 miles. Replaced all 5 including the spare wheel. Several years ago Tacoma stopped tpms support for 5 sensors. The temporary spare wheel does not have a sensor in it from the factory. Like someone said previously, when you put a matching spare wheel and tire under the truck, get the shop to put a tpms sensor in it and they'll record the numbers for so when you do a 5 tire rotation they can just scan them amd update the sensors.

my 285 fits fine, might have to bend brackets back a little, the way the exhaust is routed on the 2nd gen which should be similar to 3rd gen you should have a few inches of clearance
