My truck currently has 265-60-R18's. How much difference in cab height would I see (if at all) if I dropped to a 245-75-R16?

I'm thinking of putting the stock steel rims back on due to a $200 price difference in tires. I'd actually like my truck a bit lower as I have to hop a bit to get in it now.

Use the tire size calculator. Its at the bottom of the page if you're on a computer, or look for it using the search function. The cosmetic difference will be big, but overall height will change very little.

Ha ha, apparently it links in the post auto magically when you type it!

Thanks for that link. It's pretty much a wash heighth-wise.

Is there a way to lower a prerunner about 2-3" without any major modifications? Please excuse my ignorance. I'm a complete dumbass regarding this stuff.
