you can also get 887 coils in stead of the 885's, same spring rate, just 1/2" taller. avoid the 886 coils unless you have bumper and winch, stiff spring rate

No worries, I don't mind answering questions. That's why I started this thread. I had a lot of questions when I was shopping around for a lift/ tire combo. I got the spacer just to be on the safe side. I've heard some people need it and some people don't. I'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

It's an interesting process. So much good information and so much conflicting information out there. I don't mind spending the money to lift it but I want to do it right the first time and not waste money either.

Just so you know you two are talking about different things. OP is talking about the taco lean spacer, while arpatton86 is talking about 1\2" top plate spacers on both sides to achieve even more lift.

Thanks for clarifying that I didn't realize. Whelp I wasn't able to get camber/ caster within spec. Other than a little bit of steering wheel shake and wondering doesn't drive bad. Now who's UCA do I want....

I know several people are suggesting the LR UCA's and I'm sure they've fixed their problems but it still scares me. I'd rather pay a couple hundred more and be worry free with icon, camberg or total chaos. I also understand that the uniball give you a greater range of motion but several people say they squeak. Im in a bit of a pickle.

TC arms are good in stock, as well as both styles of Camburg, Icon, and Light racing. Most arms ship priority and could be coast to coast in 2-3 business days!!!

Im running the ko2s in 285 and they handle great on and off road. 8 tested them out yesterday at the mojave national preserve. They only thing that I will complain about is the weight, I'm thinking of regearing in the near future

Whelp I got the new upper control arms installed last night. I started with the passenger side and holy shit did that wheel well put up a fight. I literally had to beat it into submission in order to get the UCA cross bolt out. Driver side went in smooth/ very little bending of the wheel well. Getting her alligned now. 1125DDE5-9865-41C4-B0D9-F0E81BF80708_zps_d7d10d10f461a740e3ca35df6777bf4f30e50560.jpg

General Patton! What's up! Glad to see your truck coming together. I had all the same issues last fall with mine too. In the end I went with Konig six shooter wheels and 265/70/17 general AT2s. The tires have proved themselves every time we go out. I only get a very slight rub on the stock mud flaps. I can show you later, I'm pretty sure you're working late tonight too right?

I've got the same tires in the same size. I love em!
