So my fuse tap came from Amazon , no instructions of course... which slot is for the original fused circuit? I'm sure this is a dummy question, just want to get it right....1461095450732536253327.jpg 20160419_124817.jpg

Fuse box inside the cab, put your key in the ignition, turn it on. Voltage meter and look for constant 12 volt, once you found one remove the fuse then tap it

It's less Tacoma and more mod
Probe it for continuity with a multimeter, that'll tell you really fast.

OK sorry wasn't clear which slot on the actual fuse tap is the one you put the fuse you removed? Or I guess could do what you said and use an empty slot in fuse box location..... which fuse slot on the tap itself the right one, so I don't have to do swap to figure out which is live with fuse in..

The lower one, closest to the blades will be the slot for the factory circuit.
